Terms & Conditions

Anneke Brouwer Stemprofessional & Sprekerscoach assumes that you are aware of these conditions if you register with Anneke Brouwer Stemprofessional & Sprekerscoach for coaching, a presentation, a course or a workshop.

General 

These General Terms and Conditions apply to all agreements between ‘Anneke Brouwer Stemprofessional & Sprekerscoach’ and ‘Participant/Client’. Participant/Client is defined as any natural or legal person who actually registers for and/or participates in coaching, a presentation, a course or a workshop.

Registration

The registration is confirmed when the Participant/Client has received a digital confirmation of registration from Anneke Brouwer Stemprofessional & Sprekerscoach. Anneke Brouwer Stemprofessional & Sprekerscoach has the right to refuse registrations, without giving any reason. The Participant/Client has the right to dissolve the agreement without giving any reason within 14 working days after receiving the digital confirmation.

Cancellation

Cancellation must be sent digitally by the Participant/Client to Anneke Brouwer Stemprofessional & Sprekerscoach. Cancellation is effective on the date the digital cancellation is received. In case of cancellation after the invoice has been sent to the Participant/Client, the Participant/Client will be charged a € 50 administration fee by Anneke Brouwer Stemprofessional & Sprekerscoach. In the event of cancellation by the Participant/Client up to 30 days before the start of the coaching, a presentation, a course or a workshop, 50% of the total amount will be charged. Up to 7 days before the start of the coaching, a presentation, a course or a workshop 75% will be charged and in case of cancellation from the 7th day until the date of commencement 100% of the total amount will be charged to the Participant/Client. If the Participant/Client does not attend the coaching, the presentation, the course or the workshop he signed up for and has not cancelled, the total amount will be charged. In case of payment by a third party, the Participant/Client remains responsible for paying the full amount. If the Participant /Client himself can find a replacement that meets the conditions, only the administration costs will be charged. If the Participant/Client is absent for one or more days, no refund will be given.

If the reason for absence is due to compelling private circumstances, the Participant/Client in consultation with Anneke Brouwer Stemprofessional & Sprekerscoach may be able to join the following course or workshop to catch up on the missed day. Moving or catching up in a later course will not be possible. No refund will be given after the start of the coaching, the course or the workshop.

Payment

Payment must be made within the payment term (indicated on the invoice) and before the commencement of the coaching, the presentation, the course or the workshop by bank transfer. This also forms the guarantee for participation. In the case of late payment, the place of the Participant/Client may be given to someone else on the waiting list, but does not release the Participant/Client from the payment obligation. An exception to the payment term may be possible if there is a payment arrangement (payment in instalments is possible in consultation). Coffee, tea and course material are included in the coaching, the course or the workshop. Lunch will be included on full-day courses.

Cancellations and Changes made by Anneke Brouwer Stemprofessional & Sprekerscoach

All courses, presentations or workshops are held subject to sufficient registrations. Anneke Brouwer Stemprofessional & Sprekerscoach reserves the right to cancel a course / a presentation or to postpone it to a later date in case of insufficient registrations, calamity or other urgent reasons. Anneke Brouwer Stemprofessional & Sprekerscoach also reserves the right to adjust the course / the presentation times, the teacher (with the same expertise and knowledge), the curriculum and / or the location in case of unforeseen circumstances. In this case, the Participant/Client will be notified as soon as possible. In the event of cancellation by Anneke Brouwer Stemprofessional & Sprekerscoach, the total amount will be refunded within 10 working days if the Participant/Client does not wish to register for participation in a subsequent course / presentation. Anneke Brouwer Stemprofessional & Sprekerscoach accepts no responsibility for any damages that stem from this cancellation. Anneke Brouwer Stemprofessional & Sprekerscoach may unilaterally change these terms and conditions for reasons. Anneke Brouwer Stemprofessional & Sprekerscoach must publish these changes on the website immediately.

Corona

Anneke Brouwer Stemprofessional & Sprekerscoach uses the guidelines as indicated by the Dutch government. Anneke Brouwer Stemprofessional & Sprekerscoach will inform the Participant in advance about the measures taken during the coaching, course or workshop. Only when the Dutch government decides that live meetings are prohibited, the workshop will be canceled and the registration fee will be refunded. In all other situations where participation is not possible, no refund can be made. At that time, the feasibility of online participation will be examined in consultation with the participant concerned.

Entrance requirements and course completion

There are no prior education requirements for the courses and workshops.

On completion of a minimum of 80% of the course, the Participant/Client will receive a certificate. If the Participant/Client has attended less than 80%, compensatory agreements may be made. Anneke Brouwer Stemprofessional & Sprekerscoach will always strive to provide the Participant/Client with the best chance of receiving a certificate. Anneke Brouwer Stemprofessional & Sprekerscoach reserves the right to terminate participation of the Participant/Client if there are good reasons for doing so.

Safety and well-being

The trainers at Anneke Brouwer Stemprofessional & Sprekerscoach are experienced in coaching individuals and groups and put the safety and integrity of the Participant/Client first. The Participant/Client is at all times responsible for his / her own well-being.

The trainers at Anneke Brouwer Stemprofessional & Sprekerscoach conform to the following code of ethics:

  • Show respect for the dignity and integrity of the Participant/Client.
  • Will keep any personal matters strictly confidential.
  • Organize the coaching, the presentation, the course or the workshop with lots of care and create a positive learning environment in which the Participant/Client are respected.
  • Always strive to maintain and develop the autonomy of the Participant/Client.
  • Only award certificates to Participants/Clients who deal ethically with the teaching material provided.
  • Continue developing themselves professionally through peer observation, supervision, workshops, seminars and training.

Privacy

The trainers at Anneke Brouwer Stemprofessional & Sprekerscoach guarantee that anything shared by the Participant/Client in confidence during the coaching, a presentation, a course or a workshop, is treated with the greatest respect and trust and that the trainers have a duty of silence. Nothing is revealed to or discussed with third parties, unless these third parties are fellow trainers who are involved with Anneke Brouwer Stemprofessional & Sprekerscoach. The Participant/Client is also expected not to discuss other Participants’/Clients’ personal developments with third parties. The Participant/Client is of course always free to share his / her own developments with others.

Complaints procedure 

If there are complaints about the coaching, a presentation, a course or a workshop or about the trainer (s), the Participant/Client can report this complaint in writing to Anneke Brouwer Stemprofessional & Sprekerscoach. Anneke Brouwer Stemprofessional & Sprekerscoach will send a confirmation of receipt within 2 working days of receiving the complaint and will deal with this complaint as soon as possible, within 4 weeks. Should the handling of the complaint take longer than expected, then Anneke Brouwer Stemprofessional & Sprekerscoach will specify a new term within which the Participant/Client can expect completion. The complaint will always be treated confidentially. Anneke Brouwer Stemprofessional & Sprekerscoach will make every effort to find a solution to the full satisfaction of all parties, but should this not be possible despite all efforts, Anneke Brouwer Stemprofessional & Sprekerscoach will appoint a third, independent party (an appropriate lawyer will be appointed via Stichting Rechtswinkel.nl). The statement of this party is binding for both Anneke Brouwer Stemprofessional & Sprekerscoach and the Participant/Client and will be dealt with promptly. The mediation costs incurred for engaging a third party will be borne by the party who has been unsuccessful after the judgment. The file that has been created to register the complaint and in which the handling is described, is kept for 2 years.

Terms of correspondence

Questions of an administrative nature or with regard to coaching, a presentation, a course or a workshop will be answered within 5 working days. For questions that require a longer processing time, the Participant/Client will receive a confirmation of receipt within 5 days with an indication of when the Participant/Client can expect a detailed answer.

Ownership

The copyright on the course material and training materials and the other materials provided in the coaching, the presentation, the course or the workshop are held by Anneke Brouwer Stemprofessional & Sprekerscoach.

Without the explicit written consent of Anneke Brouwer Stemprofessional & Sprekerscoach, no data from and / or parts and / or excerpts from the provided course materials may be published or multiplied in any way whatsoever.
